Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: July 29, 2026

Welcome to FreeDeskPro. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the FreeDeskPro remote desktop software application (the "Software"), our signaling services, and our website located at freedeskpro.com (collectively, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Software or Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Software.

1. Software License & Usage

FreeDeskPro is provided as a free utility. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up license to download, install, and run the Software on your devices for personal or commercial purposes.

No Commercial Use Restrictions: Unlike other remote desktop tools, FreeDeskPro does not impose artificial limits or session terminations based on commercial environments. You are free to use this Software in corporate, educational, and individual settings without license enforcement.

2. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree that you will not use the Software or Service for any unlawful or unauthorized activity. Specifically, you agree not to:

  • Install or run the Software on any device without the explicit authorization and consent of the device's owner.
  • Access, control, or monitor any third-party computer system without prior permission.
  • Use the signaling network to conduct distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, spread malware, or transmit unsolicited payloads.
  • Bypass or attempt to bypass security measures, encryption algorithms, or authentication mechanisms designed to protect remote sessions.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity during connection establishment.

3. Peer-to-Peer & WebRTC Data Transmission

FreeDeskPro establishes direct connections between peer devices using WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication) protocol. Connection initiation involves a signaling phase. By using our public signaling servers, you acknowledge that temporary network details (such as public IP addresses) are processed solely to negotiate the direct P2P connection. Once established, all screen data, keystrokes, mouse events, audio signals, and file transfers are encrypted end-to-end and are not stored, cached, or processed by our servers.

4. Intellectual Property

The Software, source code, designs, logo, websites, and all intellectual assets associated with FreeDeskPro are owned by the developers of FreeDeskPro. You may not modify, decompile, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the proprietary releases without written permission from the owner, unless permitted under the terms of specific open-source licenses governing components of the software.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE AND SERVICE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE CREATORS, DEVELOPERS, OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall the developers or any contributors of FreeDeskPro be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Software or Service.
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of your devices or data due to weak credentials or shared passwords.
  • Service interruptions, network signaling outages, or connection failures.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will post the updated terms on our website. By continuing to access or use our Software after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

8. Contact Information
